About the Piece

I wrote this piece in 2011. At the time, I needed to quickly write a little piece to end my senior recital at the University of Hartford. "Farewell" as it ended the concert and my undergraduate career.

I have always had a fascination with positional audio so I envisioned the three performers in separate parts of the room. The piece has each voice going in an out dynamically creating a neat layered effect. Granted this adds some additional challenge to the performers.
